It’s the question argued by many but do you iron your bedding? We iron our clothes daily but do we iron our bedding?
A study taken out by YouGov Realtime shows that three in ten Britons (30%) say they iron their pillow cases, 23% say they press their duvet covers and 20% smooth out their bedsheets. The study also showed that ironing was people’s LEAST favourite household chore but perhaps the strange statistic shows that 5% of Britons are ironing their underwear, and 3% their socks. So do you like the feeling of getting into a perfectly ironed bed after the sheets have been changed? We do! But how can you make this task easier? According to BedLinenOnline, ironing your sheets while they are still damp is most effective. They say you should also use a very hot iron to get rid of those stubborn creases.
Boardmann customers have told us that ironing their bedding on a Boardmann board is easier than ever. Because of our wider shape and double layer of foam, it’s a smoother, faster process. We designed the Boardmann to iron shirts in half the time but the fact that bedding is made easy too is a bonus! One of our customer reviews stated ‘The ironing board is a very good size can iron large items like quilt covers very easily’.
